One wedding a weekend
Our day-of notes
5:02 PM
Trolley's past. Cue the strings.
The rest, in full.
The city's permit for your square. A tent on hold for every outdoor wedding from June to September. The trolley tours that circle the squares. Bug spray for the sand gnats at dusk, heel protectors for the brick paths, a steamer, a sewing kit and a stain stick. The vendors' dinners. The rain call at ten. The getaway car at 10:25. And the two of you, nowhere near any of it.
Maggie Delancey started Delancey Weddings in 2013, after eleven years running banquets at a hotel on the river: about six hundred receptions, watched from the kitchen door. Her husband, Wes, handles the load-in. Camille Navarro joined in 2018 and plans in English and Spanish.

Behind the day
What you'll see, and what we're doing at that same moment.
2:15 PM
What you see
Your dress, steamed, hanging in the window light.
What we're doing
We're walking your route to the square at your pace, and fitting heel protectors for the brick paths.
5:00 PM
What you see
The square, the oaks and everyone you love.
What we're doing
We're holding the processional at the corner until the trolley tour rolls past.
6:40 PM
What you see
Cocktail hour in the courtyard.
What we're doing
We're watching the radar. The storm will miss us by eight miles; the tent stays on hold until seven.
10:30 PM
What you see
Sparklers all the way down the street.
What we're doing
Your gifts, the top tier and your phone chargers are already in the getaway car.
Real weddings, real weather.

Amara & Jules
April, 140 guests
A ceremony in a square in the historic district, then everyone walked to dinner in a carriage-house courtyard, two squares over, behind a brass trio.
Corinne & Hugh
October, 180 guests
A marsh-side lawn on Skidaway Island. The storm came at 5:10; dinner was under the tent by 5:25.
Kendra & Rosalind
June, 90 guests
A rooftop on the river, with the toasts timed between the freighters' horns.
Vivian & Tom
May, 40 guests
The beach on Tybee at low tide, everyone barefoot.
Anjali & Rohan
March, 220 guests
Three days: a welcome dinner on the river, a mehndi in a hotel courtyard and a baraat down the street.

We've planned weddings at more than sixty venues around Savannah. We don't play favorites, so we don't name them here: ask us, and we'll tell you which suit your guest count, your season and your budget.

The squares
Twenty-two of them, and we've held ceremonies in nineteen. We file the city's permit, bring the chairs and plan around the trolley tours.
Courtyards and carriage houses
Brick walls, string lights and room for 60 to 140. We know which ones need a tent on hold in July.
On the river
Rooftops and ballrooms over the water. The freighters pass close enough to wave at, so we time the toasts between their horns.
The islands and the marsh
Isle of Hope, Skidaway, Wilmington: oak allées and golden hour over the marsh. Worth the sand gnats, and we bring the spray.
Tybee
Barefoot on the beach at low tide, twenty minutes from downtown, with the beach permit filed and a plan for the wind.
Planning, priced plainly.
Every fee is flat and written into your proposal. These are where 2026 and 2027 weddings start.

Four steps, whichever way you plan with us.
1
Check your date
Send your date, or your season, and roughly how many guests. We answer within one business day.
2
A first call
Forty-five minutes, free, on video or over coffee at the studio. We talk about the wedding you want, not about packages.
3
A proposal, then the planning
A written proposal within three days. A signed agreement and half the fee reserve your date; the rest is due 30 days before.
4
The day

“We live in Chicago and planned the whole thing from there. Maggie walked every venue for us on video, and we never once felt far away.”
Rohan, Chicago
“It rained at 5:10. By 5:25 we were under the tent with a drink, and nobody but Camille knew there had been a plan B.”
Corinne, Charlotte
“I didn't touch my phone all day. Wes had our gifts in the car before the sparklers were lit.”

When should we book a wedding planner?
For full planning, 12 to 18 months before the wedding; for partial planning, about six months; for month-of coordination, at least eight weeks. Saturdays in April, May and October go first, and we take one wedding a weekend.
Do you work at any venue?
Yes, anywhere in Savannah and the Lowcountry, and we've planned at more than sixty. If you haven't chosen one yet, the venue search is part of full planning.
What's the difference between partial planning and month-of?
Partial planning starts about six months out: we find the vendors you still need and help with the design. Month-of starts eight weeks out, once everything is booked: we confirm it all, write the timeline and run the rehearsal and the day.
What happens if it rains?
Every outdoor wedding from June through September has a tent or an indoor room on hold. We make the call together at 10am on the day, and plan B is set up before anyone has to ask.
We live out of state. Can you plan with us from there?
Most of our couples do. We meet on video, walk venues for you on a video call, and plan one long weekend in Savannah for tastings and visits.
Can we get married in one of the squares?
Yes. The squares are public parks, so a ceremony needs a permit from the city: we apply for it, plan the chairs and the sound, and work around the trolley tours.
Is your Saturday still free?
We take one wedding a weekend, so spring and fall Saturdays go first. Send your date, or your season, and we'll answer within one business day.
